30th January 2015 – Experience Team full team meeting with guest speaker Linda Moir.
On this particular Saturday night we were invited along to King James Academy in Bishop Auckland to unite as a full team, the ‘Experience Team’ to discuss what our principle requirements would be for our group.
Our team is currently made up of around 170 people, and a mixed bag that it is too, men and women, of mixed age ranges, some people that you know and some that you soon will, some if not all a new friend.
As the ‘Experience Team’ we are the face of the show, we are the first people, you as a visitor will see and the last ones as you leave. We have a good team of people, who are a friendly bunch to assist you on the day if required.
We also had the pleasure of hearing from guest speaker Linda Moir who lead the front of house volunteers at the highly successful British and Paralympic Games hosted in 2012.
What a pleasure it was to hear Linda speak about how the volunteers coped with an influx of visitors for the games.
