Saturday 21st May was the date of our next Experience team social meetup, but we had an important Policies and Procedures Training with Eleven Arches at Bishop Auckland Town Hall to undertake first.
On another downpour of a Saturday morning it was great to see lots of familiar faces from under rain sodden umbrellas and some new faces that were new to the team, each one made to feel right at home in our friendly group.
The training went superbly well and was very well received by our team.
Which leads us onto our next regular team social meetups, earlier in the week I told our team I had something special planned for the day, putting added pressure on myself, that I thought I would have no problem delivering.
An idea had been suggested at one of our general rehearsals to organise having some Experience team t-shirts produced. We decided on pink, as this is the colour associated to Breast Cancer and we could donate some money on the sale of the shirts their charity.
Our symbol of a smiley sun, represents bringing smiles to each visitor that visits the shows, something that the Experience team excel in.
But this wasn’t my big secret, lots of interest from those who could attend and those who unfortunately couldn’t make it this time around but it was almost time to show everyone.
As our team like to support a range of local businesses we attended The Park Head Hotel on this occasion, the event was well attended and the food was lovely as recommended.
